“Gunners” will be delighted, a “new Haaland” is coming?

Arsenal is in search of a striker, and the target is a talented Slovenian for £50,000,000?!

English media describes Gabriel Jesus, Nketiah, and Trossard as temporary solutions in the number nine position.

Arsenal is almost certain to strengthen their attacking line in the winter transfer window, and Benjamin Sesko, a 20-year-old player from Leipzig and a regular Slovenia international, is high on their priority list.

Sesko, who the English media calls the “Slovenian Haaland,” is expected to be a long-term solution for Arsenal’s attack.

Leipzig reportedly demands around £50,000,000 for him, with Chelsea and Manchester United showing interest last summer. This season, he has scored six goals in 13 games for Leipzig, and he has played a vital role in Slovenia’s push for qualification to the European Championship in Germany.

His youth club is Domzale, but he joined Red Bull Salzburg’s youth academy at the age of 16, where he later succeeded Erling Haaland in the first team.

Naturally, after his time at Salzburg, Sesko made his move to RB Leipzig, where he is yet to secure a starting position. Nonetheless, he is seen as a player who could generate significant revenue for the German club in a potential future sale.

Development in the RB system is not the only connection between Sesko and Haaland. The Slovenian player possesses excellent physical attributes, standing at a height of 194 centimeters, just like the Norwegian star.

However, in a recent interview, Sesko revealed that he does not appreciate being compared to the current Manchester City striker.

Whether these two will soon become rivals in the English Premier League remains to be seen.
