Problems for Arsenal that could hinder their title challenge! Here is list of solutions!

Poor performances in their recent matches are primarily due to player injuries and a lack of rotation under Mikel Arteta. It seems that their biggest issue lies in midfield.

Thomas Partey’s injury is a major concern, and it remains uncertain when he will be able to return to the pitch. As a result, the club may look for a new solution in January.

Partey’s frequent injuries have cost the club, and the management is well aware of this. The Mirror has compiled a list of five players who could potentially fill the central midfield position at Arsenal during January.

These players are considered realistic targets, and most English media outlets mention that Arsenal will certainly pursue a midfielder in January.

Martin Zubimendi frequently appears in newspaper articles due to his phenomenal performances this season. He helped Real Sociedad reach the Champions League round of 16, and any top European team would undoubtedly be interested in having him, though the price may be a stumbling block. Bayern Munich also has their eye on him.

Ruben Neves is another option, as the Al Hilal midfielder could potentially join Arsenal on loan in January. There have reportedly been contacts with the Saudi Arabian club.

Amadu Onana is a realistic option for Arsenal. He is a midfielder currently playing for Everton, having joined the Premier League in the summer of 2022. He has been one of the bright spots for his club. The financial problems at Everton could work in Arsenal’s favor, as well as for other clubs interested in signing him.

Andre is a midfielder currently playing in Brazil. He is 22 years old and recently won the Copa Libertadores with Fluminense. There has been interest from Arsenal for some time, but it remains to be seen if a player from the Brazilian league could have an instant impact on Arsenal’s game.

Lastly, there is the young 19-year-old Joao Neves. He is a player with immense potential, currently playing for Benfica and has already represented the Portuguese national team. He has also won titles and is getting a great opportunity. Perhaps now is the time for him to take a big step forward.

It seems that the first two options, Onana and Andre, may be less realistic due to their high price tags. Onana, Andre, or young Neves would provide rotation options, which is something Arsenal needs at the moment.
