After Dudek, there is new Pole for Liverpool FC!

Liverpool Football Club has reportedly decided not to extend the contract of Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara.

Thiago, who is currently in the final year of his contract, has struggled with consistent injuries and failed to showcase his best form last season.

As a result, Liverpool has opted not to offer Thiago a contract extension, making him a free agent in the summer.

Thiago joined Liverpool in the summer of 2020 from Bayern Munich for a fee of €22 million. Since then, he has played 97 matches, scored three goals, and provided six assists.

At this point, it is unknown where Thiago may continue his career. Rumors in the past had linked him with a return to Barcelona, but that is now unlikely to be an option.

In other news, Italian media are reporting that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has set his sights on Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski. Zielinski was previously linked with Liverpool before joining Napoli from Udinese in 2016. During his time at Napoli, Zielinski has established himself as an integral player, making 344 appearances, scoring 50 goals, and providing 46 assists.

Zielinski’s contract is also set to expire in the summer, and Liverpool is said to be among the clubs vying for his signature.
