McGregor – Who is MMA “biggest chicken”

Popular UFC fighter Conor McGregor is reportedly eyeing a rematch against his long-time rival as he looks to make a comeback after a prolonged absence from the sport. McGregor, known for his fiery personality and explosive fighting style, has not stepped into the octagon since suffering a devastating defeat against Dustin Poirier in 2021, in which he also sustained a severe leg injury.

The 35-year-old Irishman recently took to social media to brand his former opponent as the “biggest chicken” in the fighting world, sparking speculation about his next move. While there have been talks of a potential showdown with top lightweight contender Michael Chandler, no official confirmation has been made by UFC president Dana White.

However, McGregor has his sights set on something bigger – a rematch with former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. Nurmagomedov, who retired in 2020 with an undefeated record of 29-0, was a dominant force in the sport and defeated McGregor in their highly-anticipated clash at UFC 229 in 2018.

The animosity between the two fighters escalated after the fight, with McGregor being involved in a post-fight brawl with Nurmagomedov’s team. Ever since then, McGregor has been vocal about his desire for a rematch, but nothing has materialized thus far. McGregor’s coach, however, believes that the charismatic fighter will stage a sensational comeback to the Octagon in the summer, potentially aligning with International Fight Week. Fans around the world eagerly await McGregor’s return and the possibility of a rematch that could reignite one of the most intense rivalries in UFC history.
