Napoli coach will be sacked!

According to reports from Sky Sport Italia, Napoli has made an initial contract offer to Igor Tudor until the end of the 2023-24 season, with the intention of replacing Rudi Garcia at the illustrious Stadio Maradona.

Sources suggest that Tudor engaged in direct talks with Napoli and President Aurelio De Laurentiis on Monday, where they held discussions that lasted until the early evening.

The latest updates indicate that Tudor would have shared his footballing ideas with the Napoli representatives, while also putting forward some personal requests.

However, it is worth noting that Tudor initially desired a longer contract in Naples. Nevertheless, he has displayed a willingness to accept the terms put forth by De Laurentiis and his team. The final decision is still under consideration.

Although the formal announcement regarding Rudi Garcia’s departure is yet to be made, recent reports from Sunday evening imply that a mutual agreement was reached following Napoli’s disappointing 1-0 defeat at home to Empoli.

Newspapers on Monday morning confirmed that Garcia has since left Naples and returned to his homeland of France. Furthermore, he was engaged in discussions with Napoli and De Laurentiis on the same day.

It is understood that Garcia will not voluntarily resign from his post, implying that Napoli will need to terminate his contract and negotiate a compensation package.
